Start Here
- SpaceX targeting a $75B IPO at roughly $1.77T valuation is the scale signal this morning. Whether or not the price holds, capital is still chasing frontier narrative at absurd size.
- Auchenberg’s “agent-first internet” post is the cleaner framing than most product launches. The important shift is not better chat. It is traffic, workflow, and interface patterns reorganizing around bots.
- Ben Williams’ Skribe concept is a sharp product wedge: document-native agent collaboration with comments, diffs, and local storage. That is a more believable workflow than tossing drafts into generic chat.
- Paul Graham on post-YC funding now being too abundant is a useful market reminder. The problem has inverted from access to discipline.
- Anthropic’s reported IPO prep and safety-pressure tension is worth watching because it compresses the whole moment: frontier labs are becoming public-company-shaped before the governance questions are settled.

That favors BM positioning around adoption systems, workflow fit, and practical ROI over generic AI evangelism.
Memory still says the live BM surface area is Rally, HR&A, Tungsten, Great Hill, Sentinel, Orbis, Care Providers of Minnesota, and Edmunds Govtech. That is enough. The constraint is follow-through and prioritization, not lead volume.
Munger Observer
Opportunity Cost: the open loop list is still carrying stale March-era items. Old priorities are still charging rent every morning.
Margin of Safety:
munger-latest.md is stale — last updated May 1, 2026 — but the point still holds: protect slack before commitment-heavy stretches so one surprise does not cascade.Personal Thought
Personal thought: today feels like another vote for workflow over spectacle. The winners are looking less like smartest model and more like best operating surface. Good day to close one stale loop and push one live idea into public view.

- Non-workflow macro signal: SpaceX’s IPO narrative is now so large it is swallowing adjacent tech coverage.
